• Representation of the Medley LLC Litigation Trust in prosecuting fraudulent conveyance and breach-of fiduciary-duty claims against former insiders.
• Representation of the Liquidating Trustee of the BosGen Liquidating Trust in prosecuting over $1 billion in fraudulent conveyance claims in the Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
• Representation of the Adeptus Litigation Trust against former officers, directors, and controlling shareholders of Adeptus Health, Inc., a former publicly traded company that once operated the largest network of freestanding emergency rooms in the country, in prosecuting claims in Texas and Delaware related to Adeptus’s 2017 collapse.
• Representation of the trustee of the post-confirmation litigation trust for World Marketing Chicago, LLC and its affiliate debtors in prosecuting legal malpractice claims. See Newman v. Crane, Heyman, Simon, Welch & Clar, 590 B.R. 457 (N.D. Ill. 2018).
• Representation of the trustee of the post-confirmation litigation trust for Neogenix Oncology, Inc., a former publicly reporting biotechnology company, in prosecuting claims for breach of fiduciary duty and legal malpractice related to Neogenix’s collapse. See Neogenix Oncology, Inc. v. Gordon, 133 F. Supp. 3d 539 (E.D.N.Y. 2015).
• Representation of a San Antonio ISD school board member in a two-week federal trial that resulted in the jury acquitting Brandon’s client of all charges. See United States v. Hernandez, 5:17-cr-00120-XR (W.D. Tex.)
• Representation of the trustee of New York law firm Dreier LLP in recovering millions of dollars of fraudulent conveyances made with proceeds of a Ponzi scheme.
• Representation of the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors of the Millennium Multiple Employer Welfare Benefit Plan, a purported section 419A(f)(6) plan with approximately $112 million in assets that the IRS has declared to be an abusive tax shelter. See Aviva Life and Annuity Co. v. White (In re Millennium Multiple Employer Welfare Benefit Plan), 772 F.3d 634 (10th Cir. 2014).
• Representation of Petroleum Wholesale, LP, a full-service gasoline distributor with operations in nine states, in connection with a two-week jury trial regarding an alleged breach of a fuel supply agreement. The jury awarded all the damages and attorney’s fees sought by Petroleum Wholesale, and it awarded nothing to the defendants on their $10 million breach-of-contract counterclaim. Brandon also successfully defended that judgment on appeal.
• Representation of the former officers and directors of a public company in successfully defeating claims by a post-confirmation trustee for alleged breaches of fiduciary duty.
• Representation of the Chapter 7 trustee of a defunct real estate developer with nationwide operations in investigating and prosecuting over one hundred million dollars in claims for breach of fiduciary duty, fraudulent transfer, and alter ego.
• Representation of taxpayers in connection with claims against major insurance companies and their agents related to the marketing and sale of abusive tax shelters.
• Representation of a class of purchasers of immigration bonds in bringing claims based on breach of contract and charging illegal rates.

Brandon Lewis is a partner in the Dallas office of Reid Collins & Tsai LLP. Brandon is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on complex business litigation, where disputes often involve financial frauds, fiduciary breaches, and professional malpractice. He has represented businesses, trustees, hedge funds, creditor committees, and others in state and federal courts nationwide. He also has significant experience litigating fraudulent transfers and other insolvency matters in the bankruptcy arena. In 2024, Lawdragon named Brandon to its Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation, and in 2025, Lawdragon named Brandon to its list of the 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers in America. Brandon has also been repeatedly named a “Rising Star” in Business Litigation by Texas Monthly and appeared on Benchmark Litigation’s “40 & Under Hot List.” Brandon’s pro bono work includes securing the acquittal of a San Antonio ISD school board member indicted on federal bribery and public corruption charges and securing the dismissal of a civil lawsuit brought against a Dallas ISD employee. In addition to his work in the courtroom, Brandon has written articles concerning insolvency and other bankruptcy litigation topics that have been featured in various publications.

Brandon is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the State Bar of Texas, the Texas Bar Foundation, the Dallas Bar Association, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers. He also serves on the advisory committee for the Dallas Regional Chamber Young Professionals, where he has co-chaired the Policy Committee since 2017. He and his wife are members of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, Texas.
